After lurking for some time, I decided to sign up. Now I would like to add an avatar but there seems no way to add it in my profile. Please explain how it is done here?
Walshy,
Thanks for the question. I use the Gravatar system for avatars. You can sign up at: http://en.gravatar.com/

This is a great webcomic, yet so many pages have just 1 comment (and some have none)!
Why do you suppose there aren’t more comments?
Also I really like the 3Dness.
As it happens, TMI operated under a different content delivery application called iStrip, for several years before I switched to WordPress/ComicPress. Comments weren’t supported. I did have a forum going, but spammers kept attacking it, so when I eventually had to abandon that I lost any commentary from that time.
Hi, I love TMI. I never read your notes on the bottom of the pages till recently though, since I somehow never saw it. I’ve recently saw the voting incentives and wanted to see the pictures. I just want to know, I kind of wanted to see the other pictures, but the only picture I can see is Patient Sword. Is this all I can see? Can I not ever see the other pictures? Thanks for reading.
It’s been a couple months since I started doing the daily vote incentives. I’ve found that if there’s a limited time to see a people are more prone to vote. I’ve got a pretty good “library” of images to use for incentives, but as soon as I run out I’ll start from the top. So missed incentives should come around again eventually.
Hi there AndyO.Megaman here with another question? Its more of a request/suggestion. I really don’t know how you’ll see the question otherwise. I was wondering if you would make a tutorial on how to model your characters. I’m planning on being a animation. so I’ve got to figure out how to create people. It looks like on TMI you can design and create someone really fast, so I was hoping you can give a few pointers. Thanks for reading and I hope you at least think about it.
I know you’ve said u use poser for the 3d part of the comic. out of curiosity, what do you use for the comic part of the comic? (I.E. the chat bubbles and the frames) Just curious.
I’m using an old copy of Photoshop 6. I select ovals around the text on an underlying layer, fill in black, add arrow points with the line tool, then find edges. There’s some comic software I’ve been meaning to try, but haven’t gotten around to it.
Ah. I was thinking photoshop, but wasn’t sure. Thanks.
