Ahhh, the manipulative old … woman!
She reminds me vaguely of someone… eh, wait, that’s me in fifty years. Egads.
You’d think that after fifteen or sixteen years with her granny, Maddy would have a better sense for when one of those was coming…
At least Rosa waited until Maddie had some experience on her own before bringing this up. She could have tried to mold Maddie this way for the last 15+ years, and didn’t. The more of Rosa I see, the more I want to be her when I grow up.
The More I Know about Rosa, the less I see her as manipulative.
I think she has seen things and does her best to give that knowledge to others, in her own way.
I don’t think the word conveys the way she feels about those she truly cares about. And wanting to take care of them.
Heh heh. Owned.
The key to Rosa — always — is Responsibility. It’s the price of power.
And clearly Obaki is well aware of that, even if he does try to add an edge to it.
There was a hint of this Maddie-growing-into-the-company quite a long time earlier, too. ;>
