It’s another Thanksgiving for us Americans. We had ours’ early, and everyone’s made it back to their respective homes, so it’s just me and Mom today. We’re talking about doing up some of the left over turkey in a fried rice and generally taking it easy. The huge downer is that it was our first big holiday without my step-dad, Jeff. But he was in our hearts.

I’d hoped to have gotten back to TMI by now, but I hadn’t accounted for a few things that also had to be dealt with. And I stumbled over a bit of writers’ block. But I should be back in production by Monday at the latest, maybe even Friday.

Obviously the ideal for Thanksgiving is to think about all the things one should be thankful for. I am thankful for the usual; that I have family, friends, enough to eat, and roof over my head.

But what I really want to do here is thank YOU!

Thank you for enjoying and supporting TMI. It’s enough for me to know that I’m bringing some entertainment into the world. Knowing that thousands of people check TMI daily is one of the things that keeps me going.

I’m really bad about putting things off until too late, and I’ve been letting myself get sidetracked from specifically thanking donors over and over. So if you’ve kicked a few bucks (or quite a bit more than a few) my way, please accept my apologies and thanks.

And if you haven’t been able to donate, thank you anyway. I much prefer that no one overextend themselves on my behalf. I need you to take care of yourself and those important to you more.

If you have to work today, thank you. It sucks working holidays and there’s no shortage of people that will take you for granted, but thanks to people working today, vital services are available and someone will be able to buy food for a child, or a gift to cheer up a friend.
