An online comic about Ace. A young geek that's too nice for his own good. All he wants is a regular life and a regular girlfriend. But he knows that isn't going to happen. – CGI – Adult situations. Artistic nudity. Not suitable for children or Fundies.
Rusty: Your male is carrying active weapons. Are you sure that is wise, even in light of the current security lockdown? Common wisdom decrees that male passions are too intense for complex situations and belong in the bedroom. Males are happiest siring, brooding, and raising young, rather than when they are competing for mates and resources. Until the lockdown is resolved, he should be kept in a place of safety, with young or casualties to defend if he insists on remaining armed.
Sky: We really need to update your Social Interaction algorithms. Rusty, Ace is here to try to disable the control lockout.
Rusty: Apologies. I have very little experience using contemporary English. I had concluded that it was more likely that I had misunderstood the gender inflections again. Are you sure the male can accomplish this?
Sky: He did it on the Tolstoy in only a few minutes. He was doing that here, but was interrupted when the security lockdown cut power to everything. We have been boarded by K'Sel. They've done something to put most of the crew to sleep. And Ace says that he triggered a countdown of some sort. We need to get the crew to safety and Ace needs to see if he can get to a working control console to stop the countdown and do something about the lockdown.
Rusty: K'Sel are no longer authorized to command any hyperspace capable ship. This security restriction does not expire. Absent a Master or Command Qualified Orion, any such ship will set down on the nearest habitable planet and permanently disable all flight functions. They should be advised to relinquish control immediately. I am not aware of any countdown or it's purpose. But I do not have access to or information on many control or security protocols. Even so, I cannot hope to see my plane fly again unless both issues are resolved. I see no addition input to offer your missions, but to wish you luck.
Ace: What was that about security restrictions expiring?
Rusty: In simplest terms, if they are not updated over time, security restrictions become impossible to meet. At one time, only the registered pilot of my plane would be allowed to fly her. But it eventually becomes unlikely that she would still be available. So at 4 cycles it became any pilot from her original squadron. At 20, any pilot from her command would have been acceptable. At 100, any military pilot. At 2u00, any registered crew-member certified for flight. To today, where I would allow anyone claiming proficiency to take her out; even a male, like you. If you are interested, she does have a simulator function if you wish to gain proficiency.
