We can’t afford to give him the money he doesn’t want, that we can’t transfer. So give him some land to rule, that he can’t rule and wouldn’t want to rule if he could.
But it is important to track these things so that you don’t get used to not paying people for their work. That leads to bad forms of government.
It also could create an incentive to emigrate. I’m pretty sure they would not only be thrilled to have him but his harem would help expand the gene pool and contribute variousskills.
