An online comic about Ace. A young geek that's too nice for his own good. All he wants is a regular life and a regular girlfriend. But he knows that isn't going to happen. – CGI – Adult situations. Artistic nudity. Not suitable for children or Fundies.
Farah: Ace, we don't have much time, so hear me out. The dumb blonde act is just that, an act. My life wouldn't be worth a micro-cred if it anyone thought I was a serious contender for The Diadem. I don't know what you've been told, but they never intended to let you go home. The K'Sel attack is a ruse. They're to be allowed to escape with this ship and you would be asked to come to The Empire to help make other ships available to defend Terra. Those ships will be used to kidnap the best and brightest of your world under the guise of rescue before it is destroyed, which will also be blamed on the K'Sel. And in the mean time, some of our people already think you're some kind of heir or reincarnation of The Guide, a mythical leader of The Uprising. The Empress is an usurper and they plan to use you as a figurehead to maintain power. Everyone else on board, The Empress and The Council considers impure and expendable. I'm certain Cousin Peach and Sky are innocent. Probably X as well. Even the K'Sel are being betrayed. The ship is rigged to blow the next time it goes into hyper. At this time the actual traitors are the ones holding the Bridge and Engineering.
Ace: I thought there was more going on than I was being told.
Farah: I knew they would underestimate you. The K'Sel are actually honorable people. They're only acting out of desperation. All they really want is to get away and rejoin the rest of their race far away from here. But we can warn them and then make our own, more honorable, deal. All you need to do is disable the control lockouts. With the K'Sel to help we should be able to get everyone into lifepods. Once the K'Sel leave we'll call for help, and from there, just play along. Let the traitors think they've won. But when we get home, if you pair bond with me, we can force The Empress and The Council to step down. Then under our leadership we could unite all of humanity under a single, incorruptible, government.
Ace: Do you think that will work?
Farah: It's risky, but I'd be willing to try with you by my side.
Farah: Just follow my lead. Not just our lives, but billions, depend on it.
