An online comic about Ace. A young geek that's too nice for his own good. All he wants is a regular life and a regular girlfriend. But he knows that isn't going to happen. – CGI – Adult situations. Artistic nudity. Not suitable for children or Fundies.
Luna: I do not FREAKING believe this! What century do you think this is? Does a woman really have to tether herself to you with a ring to be worthy of your love?! It's not the '50s, you aren't Ward Cleaver and June Cleaver would bore you to tears. In this day and age, a woman doesn't have to be married to successfully have a career or raise a family. Your own mother is proof of that.
Ace: Well, sure, yeah. But I've always regretted not knowing who my father was, and I sure as Hell want to be there for any kids of mine.
Luna: OK, that was Daddy's fault. But, tell you the truth, the man Gina describes is someone I don't recognize. I hate to think how messed up you'd be having had that kind of a father. But, my Daddy, the new Larry; didn't he always try to be your friend? Wasn't he always offering to help? And, yeah, his advice sucked, but he did try.
Ace: I guess. Yeah.
Luna: So think about two things. You HAD and RUINED a good relationship with Jaz. You DO have a solid, even committed, relationship with Maddie, as long as you don't persist in screwing it up. Sure, she likes her own space. And right now, she's got school and now Maggie to take care of. So starting a family probably isn't foremost on her mind. I had her ready to talk, so think about making yourself ready to do that, too.
Ace: I will, but what's the other thing you wanted me to consider?
Luna: I have Daddy's temper, too. And a bat named “Clue”.
