Ace: Break something? Again?
Peach: Hack, crack, tweak, or whatever. Last time you were a guest, you, uh, energetically left our company and somehow, in spite of not being able to read Dilmun, accessed a control panel in one of the crawl-ways.
Ace: And I broke the panel?
Peach: You broke “their” control lock-out. We didn't know it until we were halfway home, but you gave us full access to all of the ship's systems, including the nano-fabricators. We didn't have to work around the systems using codes that had been guessed at over generations. But that was a small ship with small fabbers.
Peach: And this, is a really big ship. You can do the math. More importantly, if we can learn how, we'll be able to strip out the Dilmun controls from all of our ships, without them blowing up, and replace them with systems that can't be overridden remotely. We think “they” are all gone, but why risk it?
Ace: You're not worried I might strand you here?
Peach: We can call for a tow if we need it.
Ace: This is a lot to take in. Maybe you should have someone provide a standard briefing to guests. Kind of like how air stewards do on planes.
X: Steward? That sounds sufficiently important enough, and simple enough for a certain cousin.
Peach: Oh, I put her in Archives. All she has to do is look things up. How badly can she mess that up?
Peach: And that's going to come back and bite me, isn't it?
X: Right on the ass, Oh Captain, my captain.
