Someone has been a little snitch.
And someone else of MUCH higher ranking, has implicitly overruled both her parents who might otherwise be inclined to punish her for snitching… or, taken another way, assumed all responsibility for encouraging a 7 year old to play snitch onto her Imperial self, leaving Stormy effectively blameless.
Either way, quite a smoothly executed power move. Well done, Empress!
I notice that not only has the Empress ruthlessly exploited her granddaughter’s poor impulse-control, this message also includes a cleverly-anticipated “Face-saving excuse”, to conveniently “explain” how her parents somehow “forgot” to keep the Empress updated.
Anyone who doesn’t expect a 7 year old to to tell an authority figure expressing interest (much less one of her grandmothers) absolutely every does not know even as much about 7 year olds as I do and I have no children of my own, so my experience is minimal.
