For the record, that’s a torus, not a ring…
wel gues this could be interesting when dad come’s into play
It’s a torus, I’m a capricorn, you think we’re compatible
Yeah, you WOULD turn this into Stargate… which was a fine movie, if I do say so myself!
If the portal was found in 1975, would it be a Ford Torus?
Stargate? What Stargate? If that was a Stargate then TMI would suddenly be a derivative work and I could lose my copyrights. That’s a Stellarportal.
Of course! Note: stable location, no controls…I would bet that they cannot be moved, and connect to only one system. Sure, it LOOKS like SG due to the surface, but, well, it is more likely that the effect is something we cannot REALLY see, and the human mind just registers it as that surface because it was our psyche can deal with.
It’s not a Stargate…it’s a FAAAAAHHHRGate. See, she’s in a little wheelchair, and she’s got a mohawk…
Love the ATHF reference!
Of course it’s not a Stargate; it’s a Fringe portal.
See http://www.tritacgames.com/Fringeworthy.htm for details…
Actually, if you look into the science of wormholes, that really is what the event horizon would probably look like.
I don’t only watch too much stargate, I research everything about it from military proceedures to the weapons they use, to wormhole and multiverse theories.
It would look like a water surface? Please tell me where I can find a hint about that!
IMHO it should either be a perfect mirror or one would see the other side.
Or maybe a blind spot like in Larry Niven’s descriptions of hyperspace views in his Beowulf Shaefer stories.
what are you guys talking about, it’s clearly a Farcaster and they are going to Hyperion
You really did it. Now, there’s paranormal, time travel, and extraterrestrial here in this comic.
No, I did that a long time ago. No green spacebabes, tho. I promise.
no green space babes????? you sure did forget this promise!!!!!
And promises are made to be broken.
