Rosa: I think we scared them off. At least I'm off the hook for funding a TV show. Shame. I sure I could have broken even PR value wise, at a minimum.
Aoi: Oh my, but how am I going to explain to my father that I need a check from him for 50 grand for a motorcycle? To start. And to expect company when it gets there. He'll probably make me pay for it one way or another.
Aoi: Oh, and I do wish you'd have told me about your past as a model sooner.
Rosa: Well, it's nothing I'm ashamed of. I never did anything particularly raunchy. Still, I don't go out of my way to bring it up in business dealings. Is that a problem?
Aoi: I'll say. If my father finds out that I hung out with “Kurorozu” and didn't get your autograph, I may end up being the one that can't go home.
Rosa: I guess I could autograph something. I don't have any books or photos left, though. And none of the books are still in print.
Aoi: I should have seen if The Hansens would part with one or two books.
Rosa: They sounded kind of like an heirloom. But the largest bookstore West of The Mississippi is based in Portland. If they don't have a copy of one, no one will.
Aoi: Oh? Maybe I can even get my hands on a Japanese edition.
Rosa: Don't waste your time. I never signed off on any Japanese versions.
Aoi: Really? My father has two Japanese editions; “Black Rose: Vistas #2” and “Black Rose: Leather and Lace.”
Rosa: I'm going to need to make a quick call to the cemetery, so I can have a certain photographer dug up, then buried even deeper.
