So, Tumblr want’s to be rid of “adult content” but can’t do anything about hate speech or cyberbullying.
I’ve deleted my account. I never really used it anyway.

Well it kind of makes sense. They banned all the adult stuff cause someone uploaded an inappropriate picture of someone underage, if they applied the same logic and resolve to hate speech and cyber bullying they’d have to ban posting entirely as that is clearly easier and safer then actually doing something hard like coding or moderating.
Course if enough people quit using Tumblr then they will shut down and ironically enough do away with those other problems as well. I just killed my account, wasn’t used much except to follow one artist and he’s gone elsewhere.
I hear Pornhub has enthusiastically offered to host anyone’s adult content…
For now at least, there’s also MeWe.
