Cataract was a big success. I don’t have that weird star astigmatism. Now my biggest problem is paying the bills… but won’t be a problem for getting back to TMI. And I’ve got to finish posting Aelfhiem. (Anime is another matter.)

Shit hot. That’s terrific.

Yay!
Soooooo damn glad for you! And thanks for the gift. ;>
(What? Oh…. it;s a tad goofy but… I’ve been putting off that surgery for…. um… yeah… several years now… it would be lovely to be able to see edges again and recently I’ve been considering trying it for one eye. Nah I don’t do signs from on high, but sometimes it’s just statistically sensible to let serendipity play!)
HUZZAH!!! ^_^

(For an “embed code” it sure doesn’t embed the gif, does it? >_> )
I am so glad that your health is looking better. I’ve missed your comic. I still check regularly for updates. I hope the money issue gets solved soon too.
If there were a way to drop a few shekels your way I would do so now and then to help a bit. Let us know.
As Kermit would say, “Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!”
(Kermit Arms) huzzah! Welcome back.
Thanks for the mixed blessings update; I am also familiar with the Veritable Plethora™ of ups and downs. Congratulation in particular on the cataract surgery; I do hope that your suture(s) didn’t irritate your eyelid(s) like mine did. Please take care of yourself, as no matter how eager to see TMI back in operation, your well-being comes first.
I am very glad you are better. And no lie I will be happy to see you back at TMI. As they
say “The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.” You are a good story teller like your mother.
Great news! I used to work for an ophthalmologist, cataract surgery was one of the most popular procedures. Brides to be would come in for LASIK and we would end up doing cataract surgery on the parents and grandparents. Be sure to follow the post-op care guidelines regarding wearing corrective lenses or not as you are retraining the muscles in your eyes.
I’m just overjoyed you’re alive!
Oh, Andy, I’m so happy to hear that you’re doing better!
Congrats!
Glad to see you recovering.
Echoing everyone else in saying how great it is to read an update from you
Also like others, please take your time to recover fully, don’t want you to strain anything useful
Oh man! This is good news. Please, PLEASE, do whatever it takes to get better.
Great news! If you can continue the comic, wonderful. But the better news is that things are looking up for you.
Every day, pushing the button to vote for TMI. Hoping against hope that He Who Makes Comics will return.
And now… more hope. Wishing you well!
Oh right! I guess there’s a point to doing that again! 😛
(Hino goes to vote)
At last! Some good news amongst all the bad! Glad to hear you are improving. I happen to have a few dollars without a home. How would I get them to you? They are lonely…
Damn, it’s good to have you back!
I gather you’re among those of us who have no fear of Agent Mercy or any of her other avatars/associates, I’d say we’re all glad that you aren’t in a rush to meet her/them. We, your loyal readers, value you highly in this realm of existence and are happy to enjoy whatever you are able to provide.
Thanks for being you!
Sigh. That second paragraph originally started “While I gather”, not just “I gather”. Not sure where it went but the meaning got a bit distorted without it, sorry. Must learn to proofread before submitting…
And there was a TON of rejoicing!!! Welcome back!! It’s -great- to hear from you, and even good news at that!
Seeing is good.
Glad to have you back.
finally some good news for a change so happy to hear from you
Great to hear it and please continue on the upward trend of recovery. Priority #1 is you, the comic is #2 (at best).
I have liked your strip for about 15 years or so, and I still check back in from time to time.
Glad that a few things are working out.
You don’t know how happy I am to hear an update from you and to know you are doing better
