If this happens while she was on temporary duty, it is entirely possible that the 2 grand was made over a large number of nights. A duty tour in the Navy is supposed to be 6 months, but used to be closer to 9, I’m not sure what the timeframe would be in the Air Force.
Your math assumes he was paid the same amount for every footrub. It’s pretty strongly implied that Ace’s footrubs proved to be surprisingly amazing. I would expect the offered price started climbing after the first one, especially with several women present who started competing for whom would be next.
Also consider that while a full massage generally goes 30 minutes to an hour and a half, a foot rub runs closer to 10 to 20 minutes.
