Actually, the more times I read this… Larry corrects himself from saying Gina’s name… but why?
Is it really so surprising that he might know Ace’s mother’s first name? Most folks around him do. Doesn’t really imply that much for Larry to know it.
Rather it’s the implication that birthdays make Larry think of the first day Ace was held in his mother’s arms… and the hint he didn’t try to correct is that he was present at the time to see that.
