An old house, a geek, a cute transvestite, a very tall lesbian, and at least one ghost–what could happen? – Adult situations and artistic nudity. Not suitable for children.
I’ve seen people (women, most often) try to employ this “divide and conquer” strategy at work (I say “try” because it rarely works out well. Management looks for people who can lead and cooperate well with others, not the best backstabber who makes enemies of everyone, and the whole company look bad as a result).
I’ve never seen someone try to use this in personal relationships before.
One employee where I worked tried a variation on this. Unfortunately for him, one of his targets saw straight through him, and shouted across the factory to ask if what he had just been told was true, ensuring everyone knew what was happening.
Later that week, the backstabber threw down his tools, told his supervisor he’d ‘had enough.’ and walked out the door. We never saw him again. We didn’t mind at all.

Rocky, you can’t show her the door fast enough.
I’ve seen it used in personal relationships, but it falls a p art very quickly as soon as the people start talking to each other and compare stories.
