An old house, a geek, a cute transvestite, a very tall lesbian, and at least one ghost–what could happen? – Adult situations and artistic nudity. Not suitable for children.
Point. Oregon is one of only 10 US states with an AoC of 18.
The tricky part is, California is one of the other 9, and they produce most of the media, so anytime an age of consent pops up in TV or movies, they use the number 18. This leads a lot of people to assume it’s 18 everywhere.
My comment was more that they are waiting until the sister is 18 to tell that they are related, since they haven’t told, she is obviously not yet 18. Not dating anyone under 18 covers all the bases.
I’d agree except that Gina has already pinned down the girl’s age much more specifically than that. She’s 16 and a half.
Give or take a month or two for the vagueness of the wording, there are no other bases to be covered. We know she’s not 17 or 15.
Whoops. I had seem to have forgotten they’re located in Washington state, in that post.
When Grampy was trying to find Rocky, he went to Portland, Oregon, but he also mentioned his next step would be to “cross the river”. That would be a border river, into the state of Washington.
I am not from the USA and wasn’t required to memorize any of their maps in school. These are easy mistakes for me to make.
Oh… and the AoC for Washington state is actually 16, as in most US states, actually. What I said about Hollywood flashing the number 18 around is still true, so it’s very possible many people in Washington state (even our cast) believe 18 is an important number.
Actually he shouldn’t date anyone under 18. Of course he seems to be more attracted to older women anyway.
