An old house, a geek, a cute transvestite, a very tall lesbian, and at least one ghost–what could happen? – Adult situations and artistic nudity. Not suitable for children.
Something’s wrong here. I’m not quite sure what, but this is the first time I’ve seen Luna on this archive trawl. I don’t know if there’s a section missing, or the stripper story arc is out of place, but something is.
No, I think you’re right. This is our first time seeing or hearing about Luna… except for an oblique reference which did not include her name (I’ll avoid spoilers for now).
Quite late, but: nah, she was suppose to be in an earlier bit of comic1 but I believe that, and some others2 didn’t make the move*3.
*1 — where Ace was looking at some social media page when Larry walked in, he explained some stuff, and Larry recognized the ‘part girl’ as his daughter; later on they talked to her, and she said it wasn’t her (something about not being her breasts), then she was punished (forgot reason) with having to work with Ace.
*2– Like Bruno’s introduction — was mentioned when Pixie got her job)
*3 — IIRC, site went down for some reason, and AndyO moved site, but didn’t have backups of some of the earlier bits. Some of the readers helped trawl through the internet achieves to get most of them back, but messed some.
All those were vote incentives that were placed into the story sequence later. I think one of the fans had copies at one time. Maybe they can be recovered and put back in the order.
Decades, Grace. Student loans will leave you with a crippling amount of debt for decades. If you are at all average or typical of most modern college students, you will still be trying to pay them off when it’s time for YOUR children to be attending college.
Your family’s attitudes towards morality aside, strictly financially speaking? Your best bet is to get back up on that pole. You will make more money there in a shorter time than any job your degree will qualify you for. π
And you are best off doing in while you are still young. I’ve known of strippers making good money despite age, but dancing can be very hard on your body and after a few too many injuries it becomes too difficult to stay up on the stage.
Indeed. Stripping and/or other sex work for 10 years or so while you’re young and hot, plus living frugally while putting all that extra money into strong investments, and you could be retiring comfortably by age 35. Same strategy for pro athletes (assuming any of them could manage the “living frugally” part while making millions per year).
More than once when I was working as a financial advisor, I thought about going into strip clubs to look for ideal clients. Yet I’ve never gone to such places before and didn’t think that lifestyle change would work with me. Also I am awkward enough with attractive women who have all their clothes on. Doesn’t exactly inspire confidence. π

Wait, that early meeting of Luna is gone? Gonna have to find the time to go through the archives (again)

Has the main Luna story, it’s inserted on 2007-12-06 just after “Poked again”.
There’s other missing bonus comics too.
