You… do recall that she’s trying to find a location and official for Rocky’s and Carly’s wedding, right? All those ‘cancellations’ are priests, ministers and churches
Only one of those mention seems to have a direct connection to Pixie’s past, and it sounds like they were the sordid one, and got what they deserved
Do you recall the kind of character she was at the beginning? She habitually lied about her age, was frequently dishonest, prone to breaking and entering for convenience sake, and far too comfortable living as a complete mooch.
This was a pastor she was calling to ask for a favour. SHE remembers him fondly, to the degree that the fact she testified against him is a forgettable detail.
The way I piece these details together, I get a story about a teen girl who seduced a priest by lying about her age and taking advantage of his kindness and predisposition to helping the less fortunate. When he realized things were getting out of hand and tried to cut her off, and distance himself from her, she retaliated by having him arrested for statutory rape, as she was a legal minor (unlike what she’d told him before). She then went on with her life without paying her ugly “breakup” with her last “boyfriend” much more thought… and eventually found her way into a relationship with Rocky (with a little detour through Steve).
As I recall she mentioned the possibility of using blackmail to find a minister and location, and given that one of the priests she is trying to contact is in prison and she testified makes it sound like she encountered more than a few dirty religious leaders.
