Nothing wrong with her hearing. I think Aoi is in a bit of trouble.
If anything, I would expect a mute like Barbi’s hearing to be sharper than average. For certain, she never misses hearing something because she herself talked over it.
To little, to late about Barbie overhearing that conversation.
Yet-another reason why Barbie is so VERY good at her job.
I find the idea that the appearance of medications (already a limited set of options) standardized thought it might be within the North American pharmaceutical network, would be identical within an entirely different network on the other side of the planet.
…In fact a quick google image search confirms Japanese Metaformin pills are pink circular tablets, not white ovals as is the NA standard.
Of the top of my head, I can’t think of a way to make this scene work smoothly while adhering to medicinal accuracy flawlessly, so this isn’t really a complaint. It’s not like Hollywood or TV shows in general are known for their meticulous accuracy, at the cost of a good story. I’m content holding Andy to the same standard as I do an episode of House. 😛
