An old house, a geek, a cute transvestite, a very tall lesbian, and at least one ghost–what could happen? – Adult situations and artistic nudity. Not suitable for children.
“Wasn’t able to get into high school sex ed.”… the HELL does that mean? It’s not an elective…
…is what I was first thinking. Then I remembered there’s several US states –mainly conservative, bible-thumping ones– where sex ed is actually banned outright.
You know, like in a 3rd world type country. >.>

…Then my snarky, self-righteous self recalls that even in Canada, in my home province of Ontario, our newly elected Provincial Premier Rob Ford has “ordered” schools to revert back to an older sex ed curriculum from the 1990s that excludes all mention of anything remotely LGBTQ or the entire concept of genders not matching the body you were born to. School boards and teachers are flatly refusing to obey this “order”, at least last I heard, but it still fills me with shame to have “Fatter Trump” in office. >.>
What gender is a hermaphrodite? What gender is a Eunuch? Honestly gender is a rather meaningless concept unless you have some sort of religious need to discriminate against women (or men I suppose). There a a bunch of different bodily functions we attribute to just one gender, but for any one of those things you choose, I can point out individuals who don’t conform to your definitions.
A Eunuch is a male who has had their reproductive organs removed (have never heard of a female eunuch)
A hermaphrodite is a female who just happens to include male reproductive organs (typically, butt not exclusively, including the penis). Fairly sure you know that a hermaphrodite is not the same as a ‘shemale’ or ‘ladyboy’ (if not, you shouldn’t have brought it up)
As for what Greywolf said: those are not a separate gender, butt a blending (or mutation) of the two, a ‘hybrid’ if you will
Interesting viewpoint there. Why not view a hermaphrodite (which derives from the offspring of the Greek God Hermes and the Goddess Aphrodite and having both male and female genitals) as being a male who just happens to have female genitals as well?
USUALLY a hermaphrodite is medically a female (with overies) that also have external male genitalia. Legally it depends on the area. I heard of a person that after trying to get pregnent, got tested and was determined to have internal testicals, but was otherwise female. She lived in Scotland, but was tested in England. In one country she was legally male, the other female.
Actually that is a viewpoint made by men who could not deal with the concept that males were not somehow more highly evolved than females. They also come up with the erroneous opinion that all fetuses start out female and evolve to male because of DNA instructions. We now know that fetuses start out without any gender and develop genitalia in response to stimulation from hormones. Hence a fetus that has a condition that makes it impossible for to recognize testosterone developes into a female body despite having male chromosomes.
Wrong! Just as there is more to colors than black and white, there is more to gender than male and female. This has been known for a long time and it baffles me that people want to block out the facts. It has been known for centuries that not everyone is born with identifiable genital. Doctors have frequently performed operations on infants to “correct” genitals that did not form to standard definitions. They don’t bother to check chromosomes first, they just go with the easiest route so most of these infants get surgically made into females and then given psychological treatment to make them “happy” in that role. Of course, this is not the only way in which genitals might not match chromosomes. There are a number of conditions that can cause the fetus to develop contrary to the DNA. An inability to process testosterone will produce a highly feminine individual whom you would never think was Male, despite the chromosomes being XY and a corresponding condition that causes someone with XX to look male. Hormones in the mother’s system can also cause an override of the fetuses genitals. And not even everyone has XX or XY chromosomes. There are XXY and XYY known to exist as well as some even more complex patterns.
“Not able to get into sex ed.?” Could it be that her school required a parental consent form first? If so, remember how her mom tried to keep her a “little girl” as long as possible. If she remained a “little girl” and wasn’t aloud to grow up, she wouldn’t need to know about sex.
Some people operate on the idea that if you don’t tell them about it they’ll never end up doing it. They apply this to sex, gender dysphoria, and homosexuality. Unfortunately all that happens is you get teenage pregnancies, and very confused adolescents that end up very depressed because they think they are freaks and alone.
Indeed. All the states that banned sex education have, in the years since, seen their rates of teen pregnancies double or triple. Meanwhile, the rest of the country is, on average, showing a gradual decline of same.
You should look at states that have mandated “Abstinence Only” sex ed. Their teen pregnancy rates are so high it’s almost like they were being told to have sex in their teens, which might be the unintended message.

If this were a competition, no one is winning it. 🙁
There are, currently, only two genders for the human species
Sexuality (and who you are attracted to) is not the same thing as Gender

And Guesticus, I’m gathering that you’ve never heard about infants being born as eunuchs, but the reason you’ve never heard of a female eunuch is because the condition has a different name.

Did you guys really think that Andy made up the concept of Han out of whole cloth?
There is a book about how women’s power was denied them, from the 1970’s called The Female Eunuch, so now you’ve heard of one.
