Ahhh yes, when something happens that is supposedly impossible for a certain person to do, and that’s why they think he did it! Brillant! It’s the “Carmen Sandiego reasoning”
Ace wouldn’t need access to her flashdrive. He just needed to break into the clans’ computers, find the same data (or close enough. Anything the Feds would have been interested in knowing, really) that she shared with the Feds, and leave behind some “accidental” signs and hints that it was one of the other clans doing the hacking.
The point is: how would he know what she gave to the Feds?
He wouldn’t need to know exact information, just put indications that access was to entire databases and let them assume that any information the Feds don’t have was simply withheld for future negotiations.
