That girl sure moves quietly.
She would not be a very good bodyguard if she let her protected open the door to two unknown persons whom are likely carrying firearms, without making certain that she had a clear line of attack. Government goons look like government goons and they don’t show up to strong arm you without guns, and a good bodyguard assumes everyone might be armed, dangerous and stupid enough to attack, and these guys are doing a good job of demonstrating their stupidity. And the advantage Akane has is that her attack is less at risk of missing and hitting Ace than if she used a firearm.
Plus, she doesn’t even have to need to use a weapon, specially from that angle
She is the weapon. In some ways that is much better since it is harder to disarm her (pun intended.)
