Apparently there are a lot of complications with long-distance travel when you’re a mermaid/siren. Iola ran through them back when they met, but IIRC…
-Airplanes are far too dry (which, pardon the tangent, is why food on airplanes is famously tasteless; our noses are dry as a desert and we can barely smell the food).
-Travel by ship is out, because it is nearly impossible (certainly for newbies like them) to fight the instinct to change into a fishtail over deep water.
-Swimming is out. No mermaid has ever been known to survive an ocean crossing. They are shallow-water creatures. Navigation challenges aside, they could likely starve to death halfway across.
Cleo, I’m sure they are very nice breasts. Don’t worry if you can’t show them.
Okay, gotta remember: Spooky’s hair is has a slight purple-tint and is usually loose, Cleo has a browner colouring and is usually tied back
You can also remember that Cleo’s hair used to hang down to cover all her R-rated bits. Now it hangs down to cover half her face. Pretty sure that’s a deliberate choice on Andy’s part.
