An old house, a geek, a cute transvestite, a very tall lesbian, and at least one ghost–what could happen? – Adult situations and artistic nudity. Not suitable for children.
Not a very intelligent agent. Not only did he fail to do his research on exactly whom he is trying to pressure into dropping a claim, he is basing his case on the testimony of an individual know to be a bully, with a grudge against Carly, and someone with an extensive history of bending the truth. On top of that Steve’s description of the person that hired him only matches Carly on one point, being the owner. He identified the oerson as female, but knows Carly is male and reported visible tattoos of which Carly has none. Not a very firm case, even the investigating detective say flaws is the adsumption that Carly was the employer of Steve.
You don’t know Insurance Companies too well: they will use any excuse not to pay out, the flimsier the better, because that just means they can extend the delaying tactic longer
Actually I’m far too familiar with Insurance companies. Try dealing with them with two people with chronic medical conditions that require continuing care and medication. Even with the State in which I reside having some of the better protection for the consumer, we often have to fight for the coverage for which we are paying. The above agent should have checked into where the police investigation was heading before trying this bluff. He could easily have delayed payment until the investigation was closed and been completely justified. He could have low-balled the settlement or attached stipulations on the use of the funds. Instead he went for it all without doing his homework and blew it big time.
Ahhh that look when you realize you just tried to scam a dragon.

Even though Carli doesn’t like confrontations, He seems to have a good handle on how to do it.
Yeah, it is not really a good idea to mess with things Carly loves. Like a crocodile, he will eat you alive smiling all the whole.
