A Rocky Start

Rocky’s barefoot, even.

Carly opened the door to the house and said to Ace, "The rent's not bad with 3 people sharing."
Carly started up the stairway and continued saying "Especially since most of the utilities are included. I'll be down in a minute."
From the top of the stairs Carly went on, "We had a student staying with us, but she just graduated. I think you'll like it here."
"Just make sure you don't get off on the wrong foot with Rocky!" Carly said, just as Ace stepped face first into a large black person with an "OOF!"

Correction to my prior comment. This is the missing comic.
Looks fine from here. You might need to clear your browser cache.
Sorry, to clarify, I see the comic fine, however if I’m clicking through the archive, it’s out of order. It shows up as 2005-06-29. But is should be between 2005-06-05 and 2005-06-10. Instead, 2005-06-10 shows up twice in a row. Once with the date as the file name, and once with “a-hard-place” as the file name.
I think the spam filter ate my follow on comment. This one, I can see the comment, but it’s out of order in the archive. Belongs between the 5th and the 10th. Instead the 10th shows up twice in a row.
Aha! Pincushion head again! We’ve reached the end of the remastered early comics.
…And I’m fine with that. I love this story enough I wasn’t going anywhere regardless, but new readers now get a better first impression.
The next change I hope to see is having the early vote-reward comics placed into their proper reading sequence. They served their vote-click-generating purpose at the time, but the problem was they usually weren’t “bonus” material (as the later sexy pinups would be); their little side-stories became plot-critical later on. We need them.
