I myself am a big anime fan. There was more anime on Adult Swim back then, but it’s good too see that Inuyasha’s still popular in 2008.
The list above is of some of my favorites, of course.

Maddie sat on the edge of one of Ace's work tables and sipped at a diet cola as Ace apologized, "Listen, I'm sorry about Larry's jokes ..."
"I suspect most people are," agreed Maddie.
"So what do you do for fun?" asked Ace.
Maddie loosened up and smiled, "Would you believe, shopping? And you?"
"Typical geek stuff," said Ace. "Sci Fi, computer games, anime ..."
"Annie who?" asked Maddie?
"Anime," said Ace. "Japanese animation. Akira, Ghost in the Shell, Princess Mononoke, Inuyasha ..."
"Inuyash?" exclaimed Maddie. "Adult Swim?"
Larry walked by moments later and wondered at the singing from Ace's office, "I want to change the world ..." it started.
"I suspect most people are," agreed Maddie.

Hmm… Larry looks like he’s either a native of Pararakelse Island… Or is a member of the Kuramitsu family (with their multigenerational police traditions).
