Christmas dinner. Just myself, Mom and her boyfriend this year, so I kept it simple. Kings Hawaiian rolls, teriyaki caramelized onions and mushrooms, broiled black forest ham, pea-celery-bacon salad, ambrosia (Fred Meyer deli -delicious), and roasted parmesan potatoes and brussel sprouts. Came out really well.
I hope everyone got a chance to be with family and/or friends this federally recognized holiday.
Best wishes to all the federal employes that got grinched by The Orange Fool. (Don’t like that I detest him, and always have? Pleased go away and raise a boycott on me.)
Now I’m hungry again! That looks so good. Recipes please.
Recipes?
Yes. The spices you added.
… & a Most Joyous Holiday to All of You-&-Yours, Good Sir!
🙂
Looks delicious, even the potatoes (personally prefer roast potatoes to be naked and having soaked up too much fat to be healthy, just shy of being a brick {ie crispy but juicy, like a well-done leg of lamb} 😀 )
I hope you mean “Like a well cooked leg of lamb.” Because well done leg of lamb would be ruining a perfectly good leg of lamb.
When it’s ‘well-done’, it is ‘done well’, there is no real, definitive, definition of ‘well-done’: each person considers it differently 😛
happy happy, we don’t dinner until tomorrow.
OH, STOP!
I’ve eaten a good size meal already … but now you are making me hungry again.
Keep Up The Great Work.
The Ambrosia seems to be missing a pile of cut in half grapes. Or at least that’s how my maternal grandma used to make it.
No worries about your contempt for the Orange Fool, it’s a common thing these days. Hopefully some laws will kick in and he’ll see the inside of a prison cell, and wouldn’t that be a wonderful thing?
