I dunno. I poked my head into a Christian bookstore once. There’s an entire wall’s worth of shelves filled with different bibles (and those are just the versions in print currently).
Bet if you were motivated to look hard enough, you can find a version that says whatever you wanted it to say. You’d hardly be the first.
True. But it is true for science also. Both the bible and scientific research may be used to justify atrocities and hatred. But if you seek inspiration, hope and truth, the bible and science will bring you closer to it.
