An old house, a geek, a cute transvestite, a very tall lesbian, and at least one ghost–what could happen? – Adult situations and artistic nudity. Not suitable for children.
The difference between a Debit and Credit Card, for those who don’t know, is that a Credit Card works on, well, ‘Credit’ (someone elses credit, that’s why it costs paying it back) and a Debit Card uses your own money, so no repayments required
I would have said that a debit card is linked to your checking account, and a credit card is all borrowed money (unless you count pre-paid credit cards, but even those will make it as easy as they can to let you accentually go past the zero point to where you now in an interest-earning debt to them again.)
Banks these days are usually quite happy to let checking accounts (accessed by debit cards) go into the negative up to a set amount, because then they can charge interest on the debt, so that distinction doesn’t mean as much as it used to either.
I particularly dislike how both my cards, issued by my bank, are the exact same colour and both have the VISA logo on as well.
Banks are the champions of exploiting the “buyer beware” approach to commerce.

Down here, the Debit Card can be linked to any account, just usually checking before they put an end to checkbooks
