An old house, a geek, a cute transvestite, a very tall lesbian, and at least one ghost–what could happen? – Adult situations and artistic nudity. Not suitable for children.
Was gonna say: bet they will all be expecting a physical humanoid-looking pilot to step out of the shuttle, but then realised, Qua’N and Gina have probably already met her, Jaz has ‘visions’ (and not tagged), Luna is, well, she’s Luna, so that would just leave Akane being surprised about the identity of Ruby

I would’ve linked to a later page, as our last view of her:

…my ‘matrices’ were also registering “Pride”, that day.

To be fair, I don’t recall ever seeing her from such an “on-the-nose” angle in any earlier page, so it feels like an easy misunderstanding to have made.
One question though – are the whites in this panel supposed to be sooo blindingly white? I mean, Jaz’s suit is usually white, but Luna’s is silvery normally, and Ace’s shorts should be Khaki, but here they are only slightly a little bit yellow. And Qar’N’s skin is completely white, no touch of flesh color to be found. Is it just the “in universe” lighting?
@[Laxiinas]:
Agreed.
My guess would be that the lighting in this hanger is so bright that everyone is looking a bit “blanched”, including Ace’s skin-tone.
This might also explain Ace’s frown, as being merely a squint, from those bright lights.

Akane is wondering about stealth and firepower
Ruby has gotten some serious mods since the last time we saw her. https://www.tmi-comic.com/comic/2013-11-05/

ALSO:
I hope those “mods” included better seating, because I don’t remember Ruby being able to seat more than 2, back when we first met her.

Sorry, I thought we were looking side view instead of head-on. Ruby looks repaired, not modified.

I’m very glad to see signs of recovery, Good Sir!
🙂

Fairly sure Qar’N is normally very pale, almost albino
The rest does look ‘washed-out’
Welcome back Andy. Hope you are feeling much better than before.
Welcome back, Andy, hopefully it’s because you’re feeling better.
The bright red craft gives me a headache looking at it.
Welcome back sir. Don’t mind my supine position, I shall be in said state for the forseeable future or the docs figure out what’s wrong.
