If you magically have a wish, or time travel, or some special power that otherwise gave you a chance to change your life and gain a lot of money, lottery wins are probably one of the most guilt-and-consequence-free choices. The money is from people who spent whatever they were comfortable not getting back on tickets, and you’re not really taking it away from anyone else. Even if that lottery had a “destined winner”, you with the same numbers on your ticket are still splitting your prize with that person. Past a certain point, there’s doppler effect degree of difference between changing a life by winning 50 million and changing a life by winning 100 million.
