I don’t think Ixil really understands who he should really be afraid of…

You win that bet. Our fusion and main subspace traction drives are in the nacelles and a good part of the secondary hull is taken up by the hyperdrive. The rest of that part of the ship is agriculture, green space, and recreation. But now some introductions are in order.

This is Gina Gibs. You’ve probably heard of her.
Ixil
The Planet Killer, herself? What an honor! Would you consider sitting for an exam some time? Strictly consensual and at your convenience. We’ve learned our lesson about “uninvited” guests. Not since some lunatic got loose and crashed my ship.
Gina
I’ll have to pass.

AAAHHHHH!
Don’t hurt me. PLEASE! Not again!

So you’ve met?
Now which version of Ace did he meet? Ace or Trey? Deuce is a very long shot, but not outside of the realm of possibility.
If you remember, when he was a kid, he was taken from South Korea by the Orions, then was found in NORTH Korea with no explanation. Apparently the gray took him afterwards, with the same results (he exscaped), and we’re about to learn what happened then.
Options
A) Ace
B) Trey
C) Deuce
D) Quaid? (A.k.a. the Orion’s legendary Guide)
E) Yet another Ace variant not previously introduced
F) Someone else (possibly a relative) who merely resembles Ace (there’s that mechanic Grampy met an unintentionally matchmade with the woman with the broken down car, for example. He’s literally using Ace’s base model with minor adjustments)
(Re: the example given within Option F: My bad; that scene with the mechanic is actually coming up soon. Not much of a spoiler though. Also… he’s not the one Ixil here met anyway.)
Ace is probably the lunatic who got free and crashed the ship. 🙂
And yes I know it probably wasn’t him but we have only heard about Roswell and that was the Orion’s.
Was just thinking that: Ace or one of him, probably not Deuce, Trey or Quaid though
I don’t know – Ixil is obviously frightened of Ace. The statement was “I don’t think Ixil really understands who he should really be afraid of…” and that implies that it isn’t Ace. He has a history with Peach, he’s impressed with Gina, maybe he should be afraid of X. Be very, very afraid…
He may be impressed with Gina, but she might not be too impressed with him upon finding out he abducted her son
If he’s scared now wait until he’s told the “lunatic” is the “world killer’s” son.
And then he gets introduced to his bodyguard – Akane and told he’s also the Young Master of the K’Sel.

We-e-e-e-elllll …
… you DO make a good point.
After all, “X” DOES happen to be the mother of several of Ace’s children, so she may have a vested interest in NOT responding well to this news …
… or …
… she may feel that she’s not the “heaviest hitter” in the room, in which case she might settle for sitting back & watching the fireworks from a safe distance, while wearing the sort of smile that’s usually found on a cat who has a mouthful of canary.
OH NO!!!
Now I have got to wait for the explanation to this out burst!
What is it that Ace does not remember?
Is this Gray (or white-ish) the reason for the North Korean incident?
The wait should be worth it, Andy’s good that way.
Tune in next time, when we change scene to… anywhere butt here 😛
Well, [AndyOH!] DOES have a history of doing that sort of thing …
… but …
… maybe THIS time he’ll have mercy, & continue this plot-thread … ?
Shhhh… Don’t challenge him.
We haven’t checked in on Steve lately…
I understand that reference. Questionable Content, right?
Our Steve. But I am in the middle of an archive dive there right now…
Noooo!!!
If you must, show us what the kittens and/or squirrel are up to. You can never go wrong with kittens.

No challenge — only supplication, groveling, defenseless prostration, pleading, & “Bambi-Eyes” …
… non-stop, “Oliver Twist”-levels of “Bambi-Eyes”.
ummm now who shpould the Asgard be more scaired of. ace, or his mom who just fpund out her sone was kidnaped by them?
Ace, but unless I miss my guess he has good reason. A previous comic (couple of years ago) mentioned a missing period of Ace’s life right after one of his encounters with Peach and X. Given the (almost) mention here of an abductee getting loose and crashing their spaceship plus the reaction to seeing Ace. . .. I’ll give you three guesses who that was, and the first two don’t count.
Judging by Peachie’s eyebrows, she either knew about Ixil’s previous encounter with a young Ace, or highly suspected it
And also judging by how Ace switched his attention to her, he suspects she suspected
Pretty sure Ixil is afraid of the right person, though likely should have a touch more fear for Gina.
His fear won’t reach the proper level of “mindless, bowel-voiding, panic terror” until he learns that …
… “Ace” = “Son of the Planet-Killer” …
… at which point, 2 things will happen:
1)__He may scream, if he doesn’t instinctively realize that the sound will only help lead them TO him.
2)__The ‘Clean Room’ will become somewhat … LESS clean.

( … & I’m sorry that it’s taken so long for me to notice this … )
In Panel_2, Ixil’s last sentence begins:
“Never since … ”
I suspect that you intended to say either
“Never again, since … ”
or else
“Ever since … “
“Don’t hurt me again”. Interesting turn of phrase don’t you know.
