Yes, but I’ve watched a lot of bosses over the years and best ones get to know their employees, especially the ones that report directly to them. It is also a very thin line between being available and visible to the staff vs. hovering and micromanaging.
If you’ve set up a business such that it can run successfully without you for a few weeks at least, then you’ve done it right, placing competent people in the right positions to do the job well and keep everything running smoothly.
