Jumping in is another matter entirely. Kitten looks to be enjoying the water, and is likely to continue to do so if the pool is heated. Getting out is when it gets unpleasant.
Unpleasant for whom? Kitten or ‘rescuer’?
Wet fur usually equals cold kitten, and a cold kitten is an unhappy kitten. I’ve learned this from the times I’ve had to give cats baths. Very warm water, heated room and an extra absorbent towel seem to work the best. Blow driers while seeming like a good idea, appear to make loud scary noise, and I suspect the strength of the airflow is unpleasant. Room fans seem to be another matter entirely.
For those of you cringing at the thought of a cat being given a bath, there are only a few reasons I do such a thing. If cat has gotten into something that might be dangerous for it to wash itself (toxins or walking across me when I’ve applied a muscle rub type situations) or if they’ve gotten something on their fur that presents a biohazard to humans. Side note, men need to watch for curious kittens when peeing in toilets in my home.

Nope, they are indulging in typical kitten play.
