An old house, a geek, a cute transvestite, a very tall lesbian, and at least one ghost–what could happen? – Adult situations and artistic nudity. Not suitable for children.
I don’t think we can ever truely measure the value of our lives from inside them. Our words and actions reach out and touch others in ways we can’t predict. For both good and ill, those with whom we come in contact are affected by even the littles details. A smile or growl cause ripples that far from disapating can become massive waves capable of changing entire landscapes. Think on that next time you interact with someone, how might you change them with a smile or friendly word.
It’s just a little Easter egg in that speech, but for any who missed it:
It was strongly implied that the Mami Wata spirit, currently enjoying a Netflix-N-Chill century with “Deuce”, was the Professor here’s late wife. She said on page that Roxanne (“Rocky”) was her granddaughter, but most people have two grandmothers, so she might possibly have been the other one.
That grandma “Martha”, was secretly an ancient sea goddess, who has been around for centuries, or possibly millennia, was once the spouse of this philosopher, author, and general very wise old man, makes much sense in retrospect. A great deal of his wisdom likely came out of deep conversations with his uncommonly wise and worldly wife.
Today he gives her credit. No doubt he’s dedicated some of his books to her too.
