And they won’t hesitate. Which means you may never see it coming.
In 5he times I’ve been forced to fight I’ve always held back from using full force because despite the fact that they were near my own age they were comparatively children with no clue they were poking a bear. And so I’ve been careful to not cause permanent damage. I learned the hard way that avoidance does not always work but I really did not like breaking my mom’s rule that I not fight in school. The first fight they thought this meant I was scared of them rather than for them. They had to learn the hard way. I was not happy that I hurt them and lifted visible evidence. The second time I tried avoidance again and when it failed I use training strength blows, just hard enough for them to realize that I could hit them where and how I needed while blocing anything they could throw at me. Fortunately that was enough and I only needed to make 2 careful strikes that left no marks. The Coach never saw what happened and it went so fast we never drew a crowd. That second fight we became friends afterwards, the first one she avoided me for the rest of the school year and I learned later that she was scared of me. Not a result I wanted.
He mau have a clearance at the proper level – but i doubt that he has need-to-know.
