I’m sure the proper “medical instrument” is virtually identical, except for a pretentious name and price tag one decimal place to the right. 😛
It’d be more like a baby medicine syringe, used to squrt liquid in their mouth. A turkey baster would require several ozs. to be useful (too big for less). The syringe would only need a few cc’s.
