While a shipsuit collects perspiration, body oils, and other excretions, there is still some buildup. Also bacteria and other microorganisms still need to be washed away periodically, I, however, have no need for a shipsuit..After all considerations, I am still a golem, or gynoid, if you prefer. A robot, if you insist.
My outer skin is of a similar material to my original joint coverings. Similar to shipsuit material, but more rugged. A limitation is that it does not readily change form or shape.
