Welcome to Arizona! I really enjoy your comic, and I’m looking forward to seeing you posting again. Some advice for you – don’t get too much sun. You can get sunburned really fast if you are not using a decent sunblock (I use SPF 50 cause I’m pasty). Also make sure to keep your cat indoors. The native wildlife can be really bad for smaller pets, especially the coyotes mostly at night. I live in Tucson, and coyotes are a problem, mostly around the outskirts, but they go wherever they can find food, which sadly includes small pets.
I’ve been in Ajo a few times years ago. Spent a long weekend there, and I remember the cold water at the hotel I was in was hot. Hope they stopped painting the water pipes black. I like warm water, but not 120F warm.
I’d like to donate, but I vastly prefer PayPal, since it shields your credit card and I’m paranoid about sending credit card info except to the few accounts I trust. I can’t wait for you send us more of “Aelfheim:” which I must have read more than a dozen times. Glad you’ve gotten your cat back – but in reality you are more of HIS “personal service assistant”. We have 2 inside rescue cats, and an outside feral cat that has adopted us – it took me damn near a year to get him to trust me enough to recline in my lap, and now he won’t eat unless I pet him. Hope you can rig the PayPal thing.
Hang in there with the stroke thing, I’ve had one, and it takes a while to recover, so give it time. I’ve seen immediate improvement, and some even a year later, so slow you may not even notice the improvement.
I have been running into a bunch of webcomics that are having hosting problems similar to yours and their ISPs have been taking them down. Hang in there, Andy, and pet the cat a couple of times for me.
Thank you for the lovely photo of your cat. Now that I have had time to count every individual hair shown on its head, I will be waiting for the return of the comic story.
I only just found out how to see the blog-only posts here — before, I could only see the comic posts — so I finally found Andy’s GoFundMe link: https://gofund.me/c7d716b2
It’s still short of its $3000 goal, so I just donated what I could and I hope posting it here will enable others who haven’t seen it before to contribute as well.
Even if things have gotten worse and you feel like giving up on the comic, don’t!!!! Put your health first and do what you need to so you can recover! Never give up on your hope to recover! Put in the work necessary for you to recover! Your fans (We) can wait how ever long it takes for you to get back to advancing the comic. Tell us what is going on so we can know what to expect. We want to support what you need to get back to what you do best.

YAY!
Nice!
Just make sure he gets his choice of box to keep, though he may want all if he is like my grandmother’s cat.

Welcome back online Andy. Hi Mr Blue Eyes
I have been running into a bunch of webcomics that are having hosting problems similar to yours and their ISPs have been taking them down. Hang in there, Andy, and pet the cat a couple of times for me.
Welcome back Andy. Frankie is a cutie; no wonder you wanted him back with you.
Hi, Frankie! Just stopping by to check on you and Andy.
Andy, it’s good to have you back. If you are looking for a computer, I have a few spares. I’d be willing to send you something.
Andy, I’m so sorry to hear about your health problems. I too would be willing to chip in to a GoFundMe for your medical bills etc. Hang in there!
And yay! for your kitty’s safe arrival. 😎
So, “The Cat Came Back” you say? ^_^
Cue music!

Happy New Year
Has anyone heard any news about Andy? I’m starting to get worried…

Has anybody heard anything new about Andy’s health? There’s been nothing for almost a year now and I hope he’s ok.
Look at the comments on his “I can’t see” post (from last September). There are more recent ones.
Happy one year anniversary to your arrival in Arizona and to the posting of the photo of your cat. Hope you’ve enjoyed the heat this summer!

Andy, are you still alive? It is 2024 and no word for more than a year.
Hugh
