Somebody needs to get the popcorn (or equivalent).
Popcorn may not be allowed on the bridge. Given how the smell lingers it would either run the ships stores out of stock or be pure torture for the next duty shift.
…and that’s not even getting into how unlikely it is they keep in stock an ultra-specific breed of Earth-grown corn seeds. Sure they could technically buy it from their Earth liaisons, but they have much higher priority items they’d rather trade for, like entertainment media and things that fill a real need that they have.
I wouldn’t be the least surprised if they had some culturally equivalent light snack food for munching on while watching movies though.
