Yeah, when having conversations of this sort it is better to be blunt about what you think you know. You can always preface the whole thing with the fact that something was over heard and it is possible that the whole thing is a misunderstanding. Regardless, using your words rather than acting like there is some sort of magical or telepathic connection that makes you both know what isn’t being said just leads to confusion..
